When i leave college i want to get involved in building computers, is there any computer places looking?nortan



Nobody really builds computers these days. They are so cheap that only hobbyists, or the very few people who really need specific hardware actually build them.



Unless of course you want to work on an assembly line, in which case you'll spend the whole day putting hard-disks into the correct place, just for the next person to insert the cable into the disk, then the next to plug it into the motherboard....

I build computers as a part time job to make the odd bit of profit but it is not enough tot live on. If you want to make money out of building have a main job that ways well and build PCs in your spare time to get a few more pounds.



I focus on the gaming market for people that want powerful gaming machines.
Well if you want to work at a shop you might not have to have A+ certification just to build for people. Honestly once you build your first one the rest are just testing yourself to see how fast you can configure your hardware and install all necessary software. But when in doubt google building and you will find your answer.
I agree with Mark. Building home computers is like lego now.
