i have a computer at home and i have itunes on it for my ipod mini. i am getting a lap top friday and i was wondering if i can have itunes on both computers? is that possible? help plz!

Yes you can have iTunes on both.
If you have purchased music on your computer's iTunes (or iPod), you will need to authorize the laptop as well -- don't worry you can have up to 5 devices authorized at any one time.
If you are syncing your iPod, do it ONLY with the one with the larger music library (probably the computer in this case, since the laptop will have a fresh install of iTunes.)
Do NOT sync your iPod with the laptop's iTunes, as it will wind up with fewer songs -- just manually manage the iPod in iTunes from the library.
