Can wireless broadband be shared between two computers?

Me and my frnd are thinking to buy a sify wireless broadband. So can we share one connection between two computers? I think there will be same IP. My friend live at a distance of abt 75-100 metres. Any help?

Yes it can be. If you are using WindowsXP, use ICS (Internet connection sharing) feature of Windows XP. This is the easiest method.

yes, use any proxy server.
No you cannot share the connection because the connection requires Mac ip of the network card. the Mac ip is configured in the sify loacl area network server so the connection cannot be shared it is deciated to only system.

I'd had a broadband service with Sify %26 the Service sucks....



Frequent disconnection %26 slow speed was a regular affair....



Now, I have Airtel Broadband %26 have realise what quality service is.....The installation was professional %26 its been two months and not a single fault (Touchwood). My cousin also has Airtel %26 her dog chewed the ethernet cable. She called Airtel in the morning %26 the tech arrived in the afternoon with a new cable.
